- Browning teachers implement the Classroom Instruction that Works model of instruction.
- Students participate in Science Olympiad, Math Olympiad, Social Studies Olympiad, National Elementary Honor Society, DestiNation Imagination, Recycling Club hosts a clothing drive in partnership with St. Vincent DePaul, Academically Talented and Gifted, Kaleidoscope writing, talent show, musical performances, Run Club, field day, and sixth grade Camp Copneconic.
- Browning students participate in student council, service squad, safety patrol and the technology news broadcasting team.
- Browning implements a school-wide program with posters in every classroom to encourage children to communicate effectively and solve conflicts peacefully using Positive Behavior Interventions and Support (PBIS). A support is the Bully Free Club.
- Positive Behavior Support is implemented by giving students “Caught You at Your Best” tickets when they are found following the UCS Success Skills. “Browning’s Best” awards are given to students for academic excellence and outstanding citizenship.
- Browning students participate in “March is Reading Month” including a Family Literacy Night.
- Browning families supported the Kiwanis canned food drive and Toys for Tots. Students also participated in a Fun Run, Giving Tree, Hat, Scarf, and Mitten Tree.
- Portion of dollars raised by the Fun Run are donated to a deserving charity.
- Father /Daughter dance raised money to provide four worthy Browning Bear students a $500 college scholarship.
