- Ebeling Elementary is a National Blue Ribbon School, as well as a Michigan
Blue Ribbon Exemplary School. - Ebeling’s third through sixth grade students are experiencing science through the Discovery Education Techbook, combining online learning and virtual experiments with hands-on discovery.
- Our K-3 program boasts a personalized blended learning experience, with intuitive apps on iPads, laptops and interactive whiteboards. This program has been nationally recognized for excellence.
- Interactive computer whiteboard systems are in place in all classrooms.
- Ebeling is a charter member of the National Elementary Honor Society.
- Ebeling students take part in Science Olympiad, Social Studies Olympiad, Math Olympiad, Academically Talented and Gifted, DARE, student council, Kaleidoscope writing, our student health team, student-led school store, field day, service squad, safety patrol and sixth grade camp.
- Ebeling students and families support local charitable organizations through the school year.
- Ebeling PTA provides financial support for in-school and off-site student learning experiences and also sponsors many fun-filled educational and community-building activities.
- A school-wide writing plan with common language is in place from kindergarten through sixth grade. The plan focuses on Writer’s Workshop while implementing curriculum mapping within each grade level.
- Ebeling’s “Kind Kids Club” has representatives from each classroom who serve as ambassadors in promoting and spreading random acts of kindness.
- We promote the UCS Success Skills: Respect, Responsibility, Integrity, Personal Best and Positive Communication.
- Ebeling’s morning announcements are student- facilitated to provide opportunities for students to gain awareness in public speaking.
