Registration days for the 25-26 school year are Monday, August 18^th and Tuesday, August 19^th.  See below for the time schedule (by last name):

Monday, August 18^th - 9th and 8th Grade In-Person and Virtual Academy Students

Students should arrive at their scheduled time (based on last name) and enter through Door 1.  9^th and 8^th graders will have their photo taken and receive their school ID/lanyard.  Students new to Shelby will also receive their school issued laptop.  Staff will be available to direct and assist students.

8:30-9:00- A through D

9:00-9:30- E through H

9:30-10:00- I through M

10:00-10:30- N through R

10:30-11:00- S through Z

 11:00-11:30- VA Students

8th Grade

12:00-12:30- A through D

12:30-1:00- E through H

1:00-1:30- I through M

1:30-2:00- N through S

2:00-2:30- T through Z

2:30-3:00- VA Students

Tuesday, August 20^th – 7th Grade In-Person and Virtual Academy Students

Wildcat Pride Day, a combination of registration and orientation for students, is from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  During this time, school pictures will be taken, IDs will be given to students, laptops will be distributed, and staff will engage students in breakout sessions designed to support a successful transition to Shelby Junior High.

Please plan to drop off your child between 8:45 and 9:00 a.m.  Students (only students) will enter through Door 1.  Several staff members will be there to greet and guide them. Assistant Principal, John Siemianowski, and I will be outside at drop-off time to answer any questions you may have. 

Pick up time is 1:00 p.m.  At that time everyone will be outside in front of the building enjoying popsicles.

Students who do not attend registration will be photographed and receive an ID on Tuesday, August 26th. They will be able to see their schedule in PowerSchool prior to the start of school.

If your child is in 7^th grade or is new to Shelby, contact the office to make an appointment if they miss registration but you are available to pick up their device on August 20^th or 21^st.

The building will be open for any student to walk through on August 20^th and 21^st from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm.
