Don’t miss out on the exciting summer camps and programs that Utica Community Schools, colleges, and institutions offer. Whether you’re looking to dive into STEM, the arts, sports, or leadership, there’s something for everyone. Most colleges offer summer camps and enrichment programs in various subjects and instructional formats; financial aid may be available. 

    Below is a list of opportunities shared with the counseling team.


    Summer Programs with Utica Community Schools 

    UCS offers Summer Bridge Programs to help students prepare for their future classes in core subject areas.

     UCS also offers credit-forward opportunities. It is important to speak with your school counselor before registering for a summer forward class.

    High school students can also take advantage of SAT preparatory courses. 


    Eastern Michigan University 

    EMU offers various camps for various age ranges, including day camps, esports opportunities, creative writing camps, and sports camps.

    Lawrence Technological University 

    LTU offers a variety of STEM programming. Students can choose to commute or participate as a residential camper.

    Michigan Technological University

    Michigan Tech has been hosting residential summer programming since the 1970s. It offers a unique camp-like mini-college experience in beautiful Northern Michigan. Focus areas include Business/Humanities/Law, Computing, Engineering, Science and Technology, and Pathways programs.
